Discoveries '08 in North America

An all-new, inspiring, satellite series sponsored by the North American Division will be uplinked live with speaker, Mark Finley from the Forest Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Greater Orlando from October 24 to November 29, 2008.

Discoveries Series’ Unique Features

Two distinctively new preparation programs will be aired on the Hope Channel during 2008 to prepare Adventists and their friends for the series:

  • Empowered by the Spirit – a DVD series on the Holy Spirit designed as a revival tool with Mark Finley.
  • Pastor’s Bible Class – a series designed for interests as well as church members with Pastor Derek Morris.

Full utilization of a Discoveries ‘08 Website:

  • All messages available on the Website and prepared for podcast.
  • Discoveries ‘08 study guides for each participant free of charge that each pastor will download from the Website and print for his participants.
  • Creatively designed response sheets involving each participant in the decision-making process.
  • A nightly question-and-answer session with the evangelist at the Discoveries ‘08 Website.
